"I purchased the vineyard in 2008. It is situated on the Twenty Mile Bench, which is very favourable for grape growing due to its clay/loam and limestone soil and air movement. I grow 5 varieties of grapes Riesling, Gerwurztraminer, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. My ultimate goal was to grow grapes for my own label. Small lot, limited yield wines of excellent quality and character. I live on my vineyard, so I have a special attachment to my vines, and I want to create wines that reflect their sense of place…my home.
